Refund policy


Returns for new items that are NOT defective:

We're ready to offer exchange or "shop credit" for your new merchandise as long as you return it unopened and unused, just like it was when you received it. We kindly ask that you send it back within 7 days of the received date , along with the original packing slip. Unfortunately, we aren't able to offer cash refunds for any type of return, but we can work with you to provide you with a shop credit.

Please keep in mind that we cannot cover the return shipping cost. Once we receive your item, we'll take a look and notify you via email, within a reasonable amount of time, on whether or not your return meets our requirements. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your return, please don't hesitate to contact our lovely team at: returns[at]VinylFarm[dot]com.

It's important to note: refunds or exchanges may not cover any shipping and handling charges; YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPMENT RETURN COSTS. Any loss or damage that occurs during shipment is your responsibility, and unfortunately, we can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.  

Returns for new items that are defective:

We want you to be happy with your NEW releases, so if your record arrives severely warped or cracked, we are here to help. You may exchange it for store credit as long as it is returned in the condition you received it, with the original receipt, within 7 days of the received date.

We just want to give you a heads up that skipping records can sometimes be due to turntable or cartridge/needle quality, rather than the record itself. That being said we can't take any manufacturing defects as our responsibility on NEW RELEASES. Please also keep in mind that minor scuffs or slight warps are considered normal with new records and are not covered under warranty, things like bent mailers aren't too common in all our years but if you drop a note politely explaining the way you see it - we are here as humans to work it out.

Returns for used items:

VinylFarm grades its used vinyl according to the Goldmine Standard (https://www.goldminemag.com/collector-resources/record-grading-101).

Disputes of our grading of used items will be handled on a case by case basis. We are pretty dedicated to conservative grading. We hold ourselves accountable - we however, do not know how YOU handle albums. VinylFarm is very intent on grading used items correctly, and offering items at a fair price. 

Returns will generally be accepted for exchange only, provided the item is returned in the condition it was sent in - meaning UNOPENED MAILER. 

VinylFarm does not cover shipping costs for returns or refund shipping costs.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS ON USED/OPENED ITEMS AT OUR DISCRETION.
